Matthew Engellenner

Mr. Engellenner’s diverse background in both business and legal issues is a significant benefit to LockeBridge clients as the Firm continues to place high emphasis beyond value maximization, with a focus on optimizing both the legal and tax components of the transaction.

Prior to LockeBridge, Mr. Engellenner worked with the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission where he was responsible for investigating regulatory compliance as well as auditing certain investment activities. His additional experience includes working with in-house counsel for Cumberland Farms Inc. and Gulf Oil International as well as a three year tenure in the legal department at Fidelity Investments. While working with Gulf Oil International Mr. Engellenner gained experience working on both buy and sell sides of transactions involving franchising, food service, manufacturing, and transportation.

Mr. Engellenner holds both a J.D. and M.B.A. from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts where he served as Editor of the Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy and Board Member of the Moot Court Honor Board. Prior to law school he earned a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University.
